Return & Refund Policy

At Carpet Emporio, we aim to provide quality products and fair service. This policy explains the conditions under which returns, replacements, and refunds are accepted. 

 

1. Return Eligibility 

A return request may be accepted only in the following cases: 

  • Product received is damaged during transit 

  • Wrong product delivered 

  • Manufacturing defect found 

To be eligible for return: 

  • The request must be raised within 48 hours of delivery 

  • The product must be unused 

  • Original packaging must be preserved 

  • Clear photos/videos of the issue must be provided

Requests made after 48 hours of delivery may not be accepted.

 

2. Non-Returnable Items 

Due to the handmade and customized nature of our products, the following items are not eligible for return or refund: 

  • Custom-made carpets 

  • Size-specific orders 

  • Personalized designs 

  • Made-to-order carpets 

  • Clearance or discounted sale items 

Minor variations in color, design, or texture are natural characteristics of handmade products and will not be treated as defects. 

 

3. Return Inspection 

Once a return request is approved: 

  • Pickup will be arranged (where serviceable) 

  • The product will undergo quality inspection after return 

Refund or replacement will be approved only if the product meets return conditions. 
If the returned item is found used, damaged by the customer, or without original packaging, the return may be rejected. 

 

4. Refund Process 

After successful inspection: 

  • Refund will be processed within 7–10 business days 

  • Refund will be issued to the original payment method 

For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders: 
Refund will be processed via bank transfer to the customer’s provided bank details. 

Bank processing time may vary depending on the payment provider. 

 

5. Replacement Policy 

Customers may choose replacement instead of refund (subject to availability). 
Replacement will be shipped after the returned product is received and approved during inspection. 

 

6. Cancellation Policy 

Orders can be cancelled only before dispatch. 

Once an order has been shipped, cancellation is not possible. 

Custom or made-to-order products cannot be cancelled after production has started. 

 

7. Shipping Charges 

Original shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable unless the return is due to wrong product delivery or manufacturing defect.
