Shipping & Cancellation Policy

At Carpet Emporio, we aim to process and deliver orders safely and within reasonable timeframes. This policy explains our shipping procedures and order cancellation terms. 

 

1. Order Processing Time 

Orders are processed after payment confirmation. 

Estimated dispatch timelines: 

  • Ready-to-ship products: 2–4 business days 

  • Made-to-order / custom carpets: 7–15 business days 

Processing time does not include courier transit time. 

 

2. Delivery Time 

Delivery duration depends on customer location and courier service: 

  • Metro cities: approximately 3–7 business days after dispatch 

  • Other locations: approximately 5–10 business days after dispatch 

These are estimated timelines. Delays may occur due to weather conditions, public holidays, logistics issues, or courier partner operations. 

Tracking details will be shared via email or message once the order is shipped. 

 

3. Shipping Charges 

  • Shipping charges, if applicable, are displayed at checkout 

  • Promotional free shipping may apply to selected products or offers 

4. Address & Delivery Responsibility 

Customers must provide complete and accurate delivery details at the time of ordering. 

Carpet Emporio is not responsible for delivery failure due to: 

  • Incorrect address 

  • Incomplete contact information 

  • Customer unavailable at delivery location 

If a shipment is returned to us due to failed delivery, re-shipping charges may apply. 

 

5. International Shipping 

We ship internationally on request. 

For international orders: 

  • Customs duties, import taxes, or local charges (if applicable) are the responsibility of the customer 

  • Delivery timelines vary depending on destination country and customs clearance 

 

6. Order Cancellation 

Customers may request order cancellation before dispatch only. 

Cancellation rules: 

  • Orders cancelled before dispatch → eligible for full refund 

  • Orders already shipped → cannot be cancelled 

Custom or made-to-order carpets cannot be cancelled once production has started, as they are manufactured specifically according to customer requirements.

7. Refund Processing for Cancelled Orders 

Approved cancellation refunds are processed within 5–7 business days through the original payment method. 

Bank processing time may vary depending on the payment provider.
