Frequently Asked Questions
What is a hand-tufted rug, and how is it made?
Wool is punched through a stretched canvas backing by hand using a tufting gun, following a pre-drawn design. A layer of latex locks the fibres in place, then a fabric backing is added for stability.
Is shedding normal on a new hand-tufted rug?
Yes. Some loose fibre shedding in the first few months is normal for wool pile and settles down with regular vacuuming.
How do I clean and maintain it?
Vacuum on suction only, without a beater bar. Blot spills immediately with a dry cloth, avoid harsh chemicals, and use a professional cleaner periodically.
Can I get a different size or colour?
Yes. Message us on WhatsApp at +91-7080909714 with the size and colour you need and we will confirm and share the price.
Which room suits this rug best?
Large living rooms, majlis and reception halls. The grand layout suits big spaces.
